Storm Safety Checklist
If you’ve been ordered to evacuate, do so immediately
If evacuating shut off water, gas, and electrical services before leaving
Make way to the safe spot you identified when you created your Family Emergency Plan
Listen to your local alerting systems or NOAA weather radio for emergency information and instructions
Do not attempt to walk, swim, or drive through flood waters. Find alternate routes or seek higher ground
Stay away from downed power lines or electrical wires
